Recruitment efforts are being conducted jointly with the employer to fill vacancies as quickly as possible and increase the throughput of gas stations.
The company is seeking 25 employees: 13 gas station operators and 12 cashiers. Recruitment is currently underway for five gas stations in the Chita District.
As Svetlana Rekina, Recruitment Manager at the Regional Development Corporation, explained, RDCC specialists conduct an initial interview with candidates, advise them on working conditions, and submit their documents to the employer for further selection. "We provide the company with advisory assistance to help candidates through the initial selection stage as quickly as possible. After the preliminary interview, the documents are forwarded to Rosneft specialists, where the candidates undergo a more detailed screening and a decision on employment is made," noted Svetlana Rekina.
The initiative to organize a mass recruitment was supported by the Government of the Zabaikalsky Krai and the Regional Development Corporation. The main goal is to quickly fill vacancies and thereby reduce queues at gas stations.
Recruitment efforts are ongoing for the second day. Eleven people completed the survey on the first day, nine candidates have responded today, and another ten applicants are expected the following day. Additionally, a list of over 40 students from other vocational schools who are ready to participate has already been compiled. A total of approximately 50 responses have been received from potential employees.
According to Svetlana Rekina, no special professional skills are required for the job. "The most important things are responsibility, initiative, and a desire to help people in difficult situations. We provide all candidates with an initial briefing, explaining the company and introducing them to their responsibilities. Employees undergo basic training and induction directly at the gas stations under the supervision of Rosneft specialists," she explained.
Employment at the gas stations is available both during the summer season and on a permanent basis. Candidates receive a hiring decision within three days of completing the survey.
One of the candidates was student Valeria Shakirzyanova. She admits she decided to apply not only for the summer job, but also because she wants to help residents of the region. "Right now, many people are forced to stand in line for hours at gas stations. My friends and parents are facing this. I want to help reduce the burden, so people are less stressed and can fill up faster. And, of course, in the summer, it's a good opportunity to gain work experience," Valeria shared.
