About 500 jobs were created in Transbaikalia thanks to the launch of a grain terminal

The head of Transbaikalia, Alexander Osipov, held a working meeting with the General Director of the New Overland Grain Corridor (NSGC) group of companies, Alexander Merten.

The head of the NSGC presented plans for the new year, which will increase the volume of supplies through the Transbaikal Grain Terminal (ZGT).As the investor stated, the volume of grain transshipment approved for 2026 will be many times higher if current barriers are removed.

The investor presented a program for the development of a transport and logistics cluster in Zabaikalsk, in the work of which it is planned to use the already created ZZT infrastructure.The project is designed to expand cargo handling capabilities, including container transportation, and the construction of a full-fledged transport and logistics center.

Alexander Merten reported on the half a thousand jobs created in the region, the company’s approach to remuneration, and the working and leisure conditions for grain terminal employees.

Alexander Osipov thanked the management of the group of companies for supporting social projects in Transbaikalia.

We would like to remind you that the “New Overland Grain Corridor Russia - China” is an international program supported by the heads of Russia and China to increase the volume of exports of grain and high value-added products to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, Central Asia and the Middle East.

For this purpose, NSZK built in Zabaikalsk the first in Russia and the largest inland railway grain terminal in Eurasia.It is capable of holding up to 80 thousand tons of grain at a time.

The amount of tax deductions from PZT to budgets of all levels exceeded 250 million rubles.
