The project to build a mining and processing plant at the Taseevsky gold deposit in the Trans-Baikal Territory has received a positive opinion from the Main Directorate of State Expertise for key project facilities. This pave the way for the construction of a modern mining and processing plant in the Trans-Baikal Territory.

Mangazeya Mining will develop the deposit.

Taseevsky is one of the largest gold deposits in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The deposit's reserves are estimated at 150 tons of precious metal. The project envisions the construction of a modern, high-tech facility with a processing capacity of 2.5 million tons of ore per year.

Mining at the Taseevsky deposit will increase gold production in the Trans-Baikal Territory by almost a third.

Full production is planned for 2028-2029. During the operational phase, the plant will create approximately 1,500 new jobs for residents of the region.

The Taseevsky Mining and Processing Plant project is supported by the Trans-Baikal Territory Development Corporation, which is assisting with organizational issues and facilitating the investor's interactions with executive authorities and resource suppliers.

Its development will create new jobs, increase industrial production, and strengthen the region's position as one of Russia's gold mining centers," noted Denis Strygin, head of the Trans-Baikal Territory Development Corporation.
