Rosseti provided electricity to the largest coal project in Transbaikalia

Rosseti Sibir specialists energized a new 110 kV overhead power line with a length of 85.5 km to connect it to the network of the Zashulanskoye coal deposit.Its development will make a significant contribution to the development of the economy of the Trans-Baikal Territory - it will create more than 1.7 thousand jobs and increase the supply of products to the domestic market.

The energy transit route passes through difficult-to-reach taiga terrain and in the mountains.Despite the large volume of work and difficult terrain, the power engineers completed all tasks on time and are ready to provide the consumer with 12 MW of power to start production.During the construction of the power line, over 400 metal supports were installed and 270 km of innovative wire with increased capacity were installed.

Its use also reduces the risk of ice formation.The project was financed by the customer - the Razrezugol company, which is a joint Russian-Chinese venture, a resident of the Transbaikalia priority development territory.

The development of the Zashulan coal deposit is one of the largest investment projects being implemented in the Trans-Baikal Territory.Its reserves are estimated at 663 million tons.The project provides for reaching full capacity of 5 million tons per year by 2029.

During the first 17 years of development of the field, budgets of all levels and, first of all, the regional one, will receive about 1.5 billion rubles annually in the form of taxes and other obligatory payments.The project is included in the strategic development programs of the Russian coal industry until 2035 and approved at the level of the Government of the Russian Federation.
